Regulations and Legislation
With the changes in the building regulations to include Part P which concerns domestic electrical installation and maintenance that came into effect in England and Wales on 1st January 2006, it is now a legal requirement for all domestic electrical work to comply with the relevant 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations BS 7671:2008 and you will need to demonstrate this when selling your property. At Home Electrical Services, we ensure that all our work carried out by our certified domestic electricians complies with the latest legislation and standards and if you are not sure if your existing wiring complies we are happy to advise you of this.
